New Life Christian Academy came out on top against Bethesda Christian Academy on Saturday thanks in part to John Thomas's efforts. Thomas shot 42% from the field en route to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and four assists, which was good enough to set a new career-high in assists.

Looking ahead, Thomas and New Life Christian Academy will host Oak City Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will pit Thomas up against the Bears' star point guard Cam Mcneil.
