Martin extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Cristina Marquez. The Martin Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 win over the Rio Grande City Rattlers on Friday thanks in part to Marquez, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024.
Martin's victory bumped their record up to 14-17. As for Rio Grande City, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12.
