Combs is 1-8 against Dysart since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Combs Coyotes will head out on the road to challenge the Dysart Demons at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Dysart is hoping to do what Coronado couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Combs' winning streak, which now stands at three games. Combs came out on top against Coronado by a score of 55-47.

Combs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skyler Lawrence, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points. Lawrence is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Quinmetris Cunningham was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dysart). They blew past Agua Fria 71-36 on Thursday. Given the Demons' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Owls are ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Combs better keep an eye on Lamar Anderson. He was instrumental in Dysart's win, going 9 of 13 on his way to 23 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Geo Passmore, who posted five points and six assists.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Dysart, bringing their record for this year to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Combs, their record is now 6-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Combs has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Dysart struggles in that department as they've been averaging 36.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Combs was taken down by Dysart 64-34 in their previous matchup back in January of 2020. Thankfully for Combs, Riley Fornerette (who shot 5-for-7 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
