After four games on the road, Ridgeline is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Clearfield Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgeline has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 297 points over their last four games.
Ridgeline has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Woods Cross last Wednesday as Ridgeline made off with a 76-53 win. Given Ridgeline's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Woods Cross is ranked 95th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ridgeline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jagger Francom, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. The contest was Francom's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Diego Vazquez, who scored 16 points along with seven assists.
Meanwhile, Clearfield's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Davis.
Ridgeline's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Clearfield, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
