The Interlake Saints will square off against the Foster Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Interlake's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
On Friday, everything came up roses for Interlake against Cedarcrest as the squad secured a 48-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won six matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Julian Hayes had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 323 yards and six TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 68 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 23 passing touchdowns on the season. Max Stephenson was Hayes' top target, picking up 152 receiving yards and three scores.
Interlake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Cedarcrest to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. The Saints have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.
Interlake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Diego Wills and Mykah Mondin.
Meanwhile, Foster didn't have quite enough to beat Sammamish on Friday and fell 29-26.
Interlake will have to contain Cameron Pan as he made an impact in Foster's last game. He rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns. Benjamin Cantor also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.
Interlake's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Foster, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-3.
Thursday's contest might be decided on the ground. Interlake has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 150.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Foster struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 221.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Interlake beat Foster 15-7 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bulldogs' Joey Marshall, who rushed for 173 yards and one TD while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for the Saints to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
