Vani Hernandez put up the most hits he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Hernandez's strong effort led South Granville over Southern School of Energy and Sustainability and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are a perfect 5-0 against the Spartans going back to April of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
