Page is 8-2 against Grimsley since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Last Tuesday, Page suffered a tough 63-42 loss at the hands of Northwest Guilford. Page has not had much luck with Northwest Guilford recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Page had strong showings from Hattie Sloyan, who scored 14 points along with two steals, and Assyria Hooper, who scored ten points. Sloyan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.
Meanwhile, Grimsley pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Western Guilford 65-61.
Page's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Grimsley, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
