The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against American Leadership Academy by a score of 62-53. The victory was just what Ridge Spring-Monetta needed coming off of a 65-38 loss in their prior contest.
Ridge Spring-Monetta got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Akiem Mills out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Mills is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tavin Rodney, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Ridge Spring-Monetta's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for American Leadership Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Ridge Spring-Monetta and Blackville-Hilda will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. American Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
