The Tampa Bay Tech Titans will head out on the road to take on the Edgewater Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tampa Bay Tech comes in on six and Edgewater on 11.
Tampa Bay Tech is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 47-6 win over Sebring. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won eight matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Tampa Bay Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Javari Barnett led the charge by rushing for 78 yards and one TD on only nine carries. Isaiah Daniel was in the mix too, providing the Titans with two scores.
Tampa Bay Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Daunta Peterson Jr. and Dashawn Styles. Peterson Jr. has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, while Edgewater put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Lake Gibson. The Eagles claimed a resounding 33-0 victory over the Braves. The Eagles are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the ninth game they've won by 20+ points this season.
Tampa Bay Tech better keep an eye on Carter Emanuel. He was instrumental in Edgewater's win, throwing for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes, while also rushing for 56 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing yards Emanuel has posted since back in November of 2024.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Edgewater proved: they limited Lake Gibson to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The Eagles didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.4.
Tampa Bay Tech's record now sits at 9-2. As for Edgewater, their record is now 11-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Tampa Bay Tech has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 155.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Edgewater struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 154.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Tampa Bay Tech beat Edgewater 28-17 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
