The Ravenna Bluejays will head out to square off against the West Holt Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ravenna's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Ravenna will bounce into Friday's game after beating South Loup, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bluejays simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat South Loup 46-8. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 22-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ravenna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trenton Wedemeyer, who rushed for 145 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 83 yards and three TDs on only seven passes. The Bluejays also got a significant boost from Kobe Chamberlin, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 133 yards.
Ravenna's run defense was locked in: South Loup could only muster 3.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Jack Kucera for the heroic effort on defense: he. Ravenna didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.6.
Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, West Holt came out on top. They snuck past Pleasanton with a 50-44 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.
West Holt found their leader in sophomore Gabriel Monasterio, who rushed for 51 yards and three scores.
West Holt's defensive line made their presence known, laying out Brennan Lindner five times. In that department, A.J. Pospichal was the leader with two sacks. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 13. Beau Duhachek was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
West Holt picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Ravenna, their record is now 7-0.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Ravenna has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 411.4 total yards per game. It's a different story for West Holt, though, as they've been averaging only 244.6 total yards. Will Ravenna be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Huskies flip the script?
Ravenna beat West Holt 48-36 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
