Maret dropped down to 11-13 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sidwell Friends Quakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Quakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-31 back in January.

As for Sidwell Friends, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games.

It was another big night for Ian Condon, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sidwell Friends' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadah Washington, who posted ten points and six steals.

Maret and Sidwell Friends should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps District of Columbia Rankings. The Frogs (ranked 16th) will meet Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (ranked 65th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sidwell Friends will face off against Potomac School at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (4 vs. 28).
