Clarkston was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from ninth to seventh in AAAAA Region 6.
Dunwoody scaled the state rankings by moving to 310 from 371 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Wildcats were able to move up by beating Miller Grove 20-8.
Mays's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ayinde Russell threw for 82 yards and Tyshawn Brown had 33 yards receiving. On the ground Russell chipped in 61 yards. Julius Whitehead helped Mays' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 23 yards.
Brown was the best receiver in the league this week as the Raiders defeated North Atlanta. Brown tallied 3 receptions for 33 yards. Whitehead helped Mays' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 23 yards.
Mays' Russell and Brown led AAAAA Region 6 in both passing and receiving yards. Russell has thrown for 811 yards this season, while Brown, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 18 catches for 329 yards. Kellyen Walker from Lakeside leads the league in rushing with 440 yards.
Tucker extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Vikings, 56-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Tigers.
