Brookfield had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 24-17 win over the Guilford Grizzlies on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on five straight.

When it comes to explaining why Guilford lost, don't look at Aiden Ruotolo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 64 receiving yards. Ruotolo's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
Brookfield's record now sits at 9-2. As for Guilford, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
