There's no place like home for the Brawley Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past Southwest EC with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 46-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brawley also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Domanic Vallejo, who scored 20 points along with three steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games. Ethan Flores was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Brawley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. As for Southwest EC, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brawley will take on Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwest EC won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
