The Tome Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fellowship of Christian Athletes 77-38 on the road. That looming 77-38 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Tome yet this season.
Tome's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Layton Le, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for Le. Another player making a difference was Herold Beljour Jr., who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Tome's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tome will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fellowship of Christian Athletes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Avon Grove Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
