Ansley/Litchfield's loss came about despite a quality game from Kerry M Ryan, who posted four points along with 15 rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, M Ryan is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Asia Lyon, who earned five points along with eight boards and three steals.
Even though they lost, Ansley/Litchfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heartland Lutheran only pulled down six offensive rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fullerton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Saturday as they fell 45-40 to Shelby-Rising City.
Ansley/Litchfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Fullerton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Ansley/Litchfield lost to Fullerton on the road by a decisive 34-20 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Ansley/Litchfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
