Meanwhile, Clay Central-Everly might be aching after a bruising 0-34 loss to North Iowa.
Newell-Fonda's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Clay Central-Everly's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Newell-Fonda can add another positive mark to their record or if Clay Central-Everly can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Newell-Fonda's step.
