There's no place like home for Machias, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Shead Tigers 64-37. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Machias pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.5 points. As for Shead, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Machias will challenge Deer Isle-Stonington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shead, they will take on Jonesport-Beals at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
