Corona del Sol has won three straight games at home, while Highland has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Aztecs will welcome the Hawks at 6:00 p.m.
Corona del Sol is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Higley with a sharp 3-0 win.

If Perry wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Highland, they should've done a better job of containing Camryn Thruston. The Hawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Pumas 3-2 with plenty of help from Thruston, who had 21 digs and three assists. Clark has been hot for a while, having also posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played.
If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-105) Highland actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 24-26, 15-25, 16-14.
Corona del Sol's win bumped their record up to 32-6. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 28-9.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's match: Corona del Sol has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Highland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Corona del Sol beat Highland 2-0 when the teams last played back in August. Do the Aztecs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
