Olympus and Brighton are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Olympus turned things around against Alta on Friday. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 45-22 win. The game was close at halftime, but the Titans turned on the heat in the second half with 35 points.

Beckham Allred was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 141 yards and two scores. Those 141 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Olympus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Adam Bywater led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.
Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Brighton, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past Viewmont, posting a 42-14 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bengals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Vikings are ranked 61st).
Olympus better keep an eye on Staton Gutierrez. He was instrumental in Brighton's win, rushing for 204 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Gutierrez is now averaging an impressive 110 rushing yards per game. Jayce Evans did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Brighton proved: they limited Viewmont to a paltry three yards per carry. While nine picked up at least three total tackles, Trey Harper stood above the rest. He made three total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions. Brighton's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed five yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.83 on average over their last five games.
The victory got Olympus back to even at 3-3. As for Brighton, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4.
Olympus couldn't quite finish off Brighton when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 17-14. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
