Cabell Midland had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Huntington Highlanders as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kalissa Hess, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Becca Conrad, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Cabell Midland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huntington only posted a batting average of .190.

Cabell Midland's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Huntington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season.
