The Highland Rams will look to defend their home court against the West Panthers at 5:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Highland's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while West has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
Highland stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Skyline with a sharp 68-45 victory. The score was close at the half, but Highland pulled away in the second half with 39 points.
Highland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Drisdom, who scored 16 points along with six assists and three steals. Drisdom continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Sefa Brown was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, West came up short against East on Tuesday and fell 54-46.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Chachi Pan, who scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Phillip Ladua, who scored eight points.
Highland is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for West, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Highland came up short against West in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, falling 51-47.
