Marina is 1-9 against Huntington Beach since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Wednesday, Marina didn't have quite enough to beat Los Alamitos and fell 3-2.

Despite the defeat, Marina saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rylee Hartwell had 24 digs and two aces. Hartwell has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more digs the last four times she's played.
Meanwhile, Huntington Beach didn't have quite enough to beat Edison on Wednesday and fell 3-2.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Huntington Beach sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-11.
Huntington Beach's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Marina, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.
Marina came out on top in a nail-biter against Huntington Beach when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
