Will Renshaw gave up the fewest walks he has over his last four matches on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Renshaw's strong effort led Barrington over Conant and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Fillies/Broncos are 9-1 against the Cougars going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
