The Lakeview Bulldogs are on the road again on Friday and play against the Howland Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Howland took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeview, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Lakeview's game was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over McKinley.
Lakeview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Senkowitz out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Gee, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Howland came up short against Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday and fell 49-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Howland has scored all season.
Lakeview's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Howland, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Lakeview might still be hurting after the 65-40 loss they got from Howland in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Lakeview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
