Pittsburg lost against Chanute back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Comets. The Dragons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pittsburg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Chanute, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 35-1.

Pittsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fort Scott on the 13th. Chanute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
