FIRST TEAM

C — Camden Ross, Sr., Broomfield: No player managed to dominate the Class 5A scene the way Ross did, with his .627 batting average, 44 runs, 52 hits, 49 RBI, 11 home runs and 23 stolen bases. Those marks earned him CHSAA’s 5A player of the year as well as BoCoPreps.com player of the year.

C — John Sekich, Sr., Silver Creek: Sekich stood out among the Class 4A competition with a .554 BA, 23 runs, 31 hits and 30 RBI to earn all-state honorable mention.

INF — Ashtin Gilio, Jr., Dawson: Gilio’s .709 BA ranked him third in the nation as he found his way onto second team all-state. He ranked No. 1 in the U.S. in OBP (.802) and slugging percentage (1.618).

INF — Gavin Speirs, Sr., Broomfield: Speirs’ monster playoff performance helped vault the Eagles to a Class 5A title as he ended his season with 30 runs, 30 hits, 45 RBI and eight home runs.

INF — Dane Most, So., Broomfield: Most was instrumental to Broomfield’s success this season as he recorded a .451 BA, 43 runs, 37 hits and 23 RBI, which was good enough for all-state honorable mention.

INF — Holden Pantier, Jr., Erie: Pantier helped lead his Tigers to the 4A final four as he notched a .471 BA, 38 runs, 48 hits, 35 RBI, .774 OBP and 1.279 SLG to make second team all-state.

INF — Trenton Rowan, Sr., Erie: Rowan earned his way onto second team all-state thanks to a .481 BA, 36 runs, 37 hits and 35 RBI.

INF — Brandon Sanchez, Jr., Legacy: Sanchez’s domination at the plate — .523 BA, 51 runs, 56 hits, 42 RBI — helped drive his Lightning to 5A state runner-up status as he found his way onto first team all-state.

INF — Kieran Gaffney, Sr., Legacy: Gaffney’s offensive talent helped light the spark for Legacy with a .446 BA, 30 runs, 45 hits and 29 RBI. He earned first team all-state for those marks.

INF — Jared Delgado, Sr., Holy Family: Delgado made all-state honorable mention with his .491 BA, 22 runs, 28 hits, 22 RBI and 13 stolen bases.

OF — Sam Stem, Sr., Erie: Stem, Erie’s team leader, dominated 4A baseball with first team all-state honors and a .571 BA, 48 runs, 56 hits, 38 RBI, and 1.102 SLG.

OF — Trevor Sengdara, Sr., Jefferson Academy: Sengadara was the coolest cat on the Jaguars as he recorded a .444 BA, 32 runs, 36 hits, 24 RBI, 13 stolen bases and was all-state honorable mention.

OF — Marcus Romero, Jr., Legacy: Romero added his name to a very talented Lightning roster thanks to his .347 BA, 32 runs, 33 hits, 28 RBI and 13 stolen bases.

OF — Ethan Sanchez, Fr., Legacy: Sanchez continually impressed during his first high school season with a .360 BA, 23 runs, 31 hits, 32 RBI and five home runs.

OF — Christian Mittleman, So., Monarch: Mittleman stood out on his Coyote squad with a .435 BA, 29 runs, 30 hits, 16 RBI, five home runs, .529 OBP, .753 SLG and nine stolen bases.

LOVELAND ??

OF — Jack O’Brien, Jr., Longmont: O’Brien made his mark on a tough Northern Colorado Athletic Conference with a .458 BA, 30 runs, 27 hits and 14 RBI.

P — Ethan Dillinger, Jr., Erie: Dillinger, an all-state second teamer, was lethal on the mound for his Tigers with a 2.93 ERA, 9-1 record and 87 strikeouts.

P — Noah Scott, Jr., Broomfield: Scott did a little bit of everything for the Eagles as he recorded a 2.23 ERA with 48 strikeouts. He added a .395 BA, 27 runs, 32 hits and 21 RBI at the plate.

P — Garrett Klein, Sr., Broomfield: Klein, Broomfield’s ace, paced his boys to a 5A state title with a 4.66 ERA, 8-2 record and 48 strikeouts. He earned second team all-state for his role in their success.

P — Jacob Syverson, Jr., Holy Family: Syverson found his way onto all-state honorable mention thanks to his 2.55 ERA and 68 strikeouts against just 18 walks in 33 innings of work.

P — Connor Antczak, Sr., Legacy: Antczak proved a formidable force on the mound in 5A as he threw a 3.15 ERA with a 9-1 record, 50 strikeouts and just 26 walks.

P — Jacob Moats, Jr., Longmont: Moats played ace for the Trojans after working up a 2.68 ERA, 6-3 record, 53 strikeouts and 16 walks in 52 innings.

UTIL — Conor Wolf, Sr., Dawson: Wolf, an all-state second teamer, proved himself to be a jack of all trades as he recorded a Colorado-best 0.70 ERA (among pitchers with 50+ innings) while adding 93 strikeouts, nine walks and five earned runs. He was equally impressive in the batter’s box with a .623 BA, 42 runs, 38 hits, 30 RBI and 30 stolen bases.

UTIL — Rocco Cassano, Sr., Prospect Ridge Academy: Cassano earned all-state honorable mention after keeping the fire going for the Miners’ offense with a .522 BA, 36 hits and 39 RBI.

UTIL — Soren Peterson, Sr., Mead: Peterson, an all-state honorable mention, hit his way to a .476 BA, 23 runs, 30 hits, .571 OBP, .603 SLG and 16 stolen bases.

Coach of the Year — Kale Gilmore, Broomfield: In an area filled with baseball talent, Gilmore managed to do what no other coach could. He led the Eagles to a state championship in his first year at the helm of the program.
