In what's become a running theme this season, the Millard North Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 86-35 victory over Lincoln Northeast on the road. With Millard North ahead 47-20 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Millard North was led to victory by Derek Rollins and Neal Mosser. Rollins dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, while Mosser scored 17 points along with two steals. Rollins hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Grant Urbanek was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Millard North pushed their record up to 11-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.8 points per game. As for Lincoln Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Millard North will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Curie on January 19th. As for Lincoln Northeast, they will be playing at home against Lincoln East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
