Whittier RVT extended the longest winning streak in Commonwealth - Large this week by beating Chelsea, 41-14. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Wildcats.
Northeast Metro RVT took down Lynn Vo-Tech 48-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kenny Bartolo ran for 302 yards in the win.
Northeast Metro RVT's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Troy Tartarini has thrown for 444 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Nick Giangregorio has 10 catches for 179 yards. Bartolo leads the league in rushing with 1099 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Knights take on Greater Lawrence Tech. At the moment, Northeast Metro RVT is in third, while the Reggies are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Don Heres' team takes on Greater Lawrence Tech. The Knights have allowed 98 points this season, while the Reggies have given up 121. Northeast Metro RVT allowed 6 points last week as it topped the Tigers.
