On Tuesday, Thomas Nelson took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 68-25 win over Christian Educational Consortium. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-8.
Jade Hartlage and Ariana Wynder certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Hartlage scored 9 points, while Wynder scored 2 points. Hartlage has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
Thomas Nelson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Christian Educational Consortium, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thomas Nelson will face off against Bethlehem at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethlehem knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Thomas Nelson likes a good challenge. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will head out on the road to face off against Evansville HomeSchool R at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
