The Tri Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Hagerstown Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tri is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Randolph Southern on Tuesday as they made off with a 20-6 victory.
Avery Dungan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Dungan was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Jayden Dunaway was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Matthews, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and one double.
Tri always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Hagerstown came out on top against Centerville on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.
Hagerstown got a massive performance out of Aaliya Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Harper Fisher was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Hagerstown's record is now 10-1. As for Tri, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Tri hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Hagerstown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Tri might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Hagerstown in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
