The biggest upset of the week belonged to Scotus, who took down 70th ranked Scotus, 48-14.
The Shamrocks were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in C1 District 5. Scotus beat Scotus 48-14 earlier in the week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Lakeview takes on Madison. At the moment, the Vikings are in first, while the Dragons are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when David City takes on Boone Central/Newman Grove. The Scouts have allowed 101 points this season, while the Cardinals have given up 56.
Boone Central/Newman Grove moved up to 38 from 99 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cardinals climbed the ranks as a result of a 48-14 win over Roger Krienke's team.
