The team relied heavily on Mattie Lewis, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and one stolen base while going 2-for-2. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Emma Gourley was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Citizens Christian Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

On David Emanuel Academy's side, Rayleigh Faircloth was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. In other batting news, Addalyn Terwilliger made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Payton Peebles, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
