Even though the Dansville Aggies have not done well against the Fowler Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Dansville walked away with a 57-47 victory over Fowler. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dansville.
Dansville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but megan zeitz led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Zeitz is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryker Graf, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Dansville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Fowler, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.
Dansville will take on Potterville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Potterville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Fowler, they will head out on the road to face off against Bath at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bath will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
