Allen had won four straight games and Nehemiah Lawrence did his part to make it five on Saturday. The Eagles strolled past the Central Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 62-44 for which the team can thank Lawrence, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 21 points and six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Allen's points.

Mohammed Salem was another key player, putting up six points. He also posted an assist, marking his first of the season.

Allen's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Allen will square off against Lake Ridge at 9:20 p.m. on Saturday. As for Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bentonville at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
