Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foothill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Nelson, who threw for 236 yards and two TDs on only 15 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 236 passing yards gave Nelson a new career-high. A healthy portion of Nelson's aerial production (129 yards to be exact) went to Max Shuga, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
The win got Foothill back to even at 5-5. As for Redwood Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.
