Mohave Accelerated is 9-1 against Parker since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Patriots will head out to challenge the Broncs at 3:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mohave Accelerated has six straight victories, Parker has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Mohave Accelerated's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Highland Prep West as they made off with a 23-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Alyssa Laing and Tanner Banks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Laing struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Banks tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those six strikeouts gave Laing a new career-high. At the plate, Laing went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs, while Banks went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI.

Marin got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Lamb went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Mohave Accelerated was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .867. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in 15 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Parker lost 10-2 to Chino Valley on Friday.
Mohave Accelerated pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Parker, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1.
Mohave Accelerated took their victory against Parker in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 23-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
