Woodland Regional put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kennedy Eagles 48-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2021.
Woodland Regional had a senior duo take command as Norman Cook gained 98 total yards and Jack Brunetti threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. The Hawks' leading receiver Justin Pringle was Brunetti's top target yet again, picking up 77 receiving yards and one TD.
Woodland Regional was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 183 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
