Even though Buchholz scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Hawthorne still came out on top. Hawthorne snuck past Buchholz with a 65-60 victory. The score was all tied up 29-29 at the break, but Hawthorne was the better team in the second half.
Hawthorne got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was CJ Ingram out in front who scored 24 points along with two steals. Ingram hasn't dropped below 15points for nine straight games. Caleb Rollerson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
P.K. Yonge can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 78-57 margin over Interlachen. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hawthorne pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for P.K. Yonge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.
Hawthorne was able to grind out a solid victory over P.K. Yonge in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 69-59. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was P.K.
