Basis has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Fort Thomas Apaches at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Basis' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
Basis can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Michael 78-44 at home.
Jack Engelthaler was his usual excellent self, scoring 40 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 18 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Bradford, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fort Thomas waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 48-42 win over Joseph City.
Basis has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Fort Thomas, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7.
