The Palisade Bulldogs lost to the Durango Demons back in February of 2023, but the Palisade Bulldogs didn't allow the Durango Demons the same satisfaction on Friday. Palisade came out on top against the Demons by a score of 55-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Palisade.
Palisade's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hunter Howard led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Fred Moore, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Palisade's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Durango, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Glenwood Springs the next time they take the court. Durango will head out to face Glenwood Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Palisade will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
