The Mount Calvary Christian Chargers can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They breezed by Veritas Academy on the road to the tune of 66-29. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for Mount Calvary Christian this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Calvary Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josiah Masters, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Avery Kopcha was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mount Calvary Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-8. As for Veritas Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Calvary Christian will take on Lancaster County Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Veritas Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome High Point Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. High Point Baptist Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Veritas Academy in Pennsylvania (High Point Baptist Academy is ranked 314th, while Veritas Academy is ranked 749th).
