The Timberland Wolves lost against the Bishop England Battling Bishops back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Timberland took a hard 59-40 fall against the Battling Bishops. While losing is never fun, Timberland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Battling Bishops are ranked 29th).
Despite the defeat, Timberland saw an underclassman step up: Zion Prioleau scored 20 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prioleau has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samara Scott, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Bishop England, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Oceanside Collegiate Academy the next time they take the court. Bishop England will head out to face Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Timberland will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
