If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Clearview. On Saturday they will take on Moorestown at 7:00 PM. Clearview don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Clearview ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Winslow Township 20-17. The score was all tied up at the break, but Clearview were the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Moorestown have finally found some success away from home. They put a hurting on Paul VI to the tune of 47-10. That looming 37-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Moorestown yet.
Their wins bumped Moorestown to 2-6 and Clearview to 4-2. In their win, Clearview relied heavily on senior Dean Dvorak, who rushed for 45 yards and 2 touchdowns. Moorestown will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
