The Hamilton Braves had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by Nevada Union 63-29. Hamilton lost against Nevada Union in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-29 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Hamilton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryant Odom. Despite the final result, he scored 9 points. Caden Stickney was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Nevada Union, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton will square off against Live Oak at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nevada Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Colfax at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
