Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Melany Decasas Falcon and Ashlynn Saenz Lead Pueblo Central to Victory + How To Watch

Pueblo Central won the last time they faced Pueblo Centennial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Bulldogs 3-0.

One reason for the win was Pueblo Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 25-14.

Leading Pueblo Central to victory were Ashlynn Saenz and Melany Decasas Falcon. Saenz had 17 digs and one assist, while Decasas Falcon had seven digs and three aces. Saenz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Pueblo Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 15 consecutive matchups.

Pueblo Central's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
