The Lincoln Trojans will head out to challenge the Chavez Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lincoln has five straight victories, Chavez has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
19 must be Lincoln's lucky number: they beat Varsity Opponent with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Trojans blew past Varsity Opponent 19-0. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season so far.

Lailanee Jocson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Harllo Willis looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Nicole Domingo was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Alexa Delucchi, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Lincoln was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Chavez came up short against Mountain House on Monday, falling 20-2.
Chavez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Osbourne, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Wendy Ibarra also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Lincoln's record is now 5-0. As for Chavez, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
Lincoln's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Trojans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Chavez, though, as they've been averaging only 0.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Lincoln continue to outrun the ball?
Lincoln got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Chavez by a conclusive 10-1 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
