The Burns Broncs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 13th straight loss. They were outmatched by Niobrara County at home and fell 78-45. While losing is never fun, Burns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Niobrara County is ranked 20th).
Despite the loss, Burns still got an impressive performance from Mason Medley, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Terry, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Burns bumped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Niobrara County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Hopefully Southeast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
