SouthWest Edgecombe suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 64-42 walloping at the hands of West Craven.
SouthWest Edgecombe's loss came about despite a quality game from Xander Brown, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricky Smith, who scored five points along with five rebounds and two steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Farmville Central gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 99-42 victory over North Pitt at home. Winning may never get old, but Farmville Central sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
SouthWest Edgecombe's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Farmville Central, their win was their 28th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1.
SouthWest Edgecombe took a serious blow against Farmville Central when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 89-37. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point SouthWest Edgecombe was down 56-29.
