The Aliceville Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Marion Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aliceville will be strutting in after a victory while Marion will be coming in after a loss.
Aliceville posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 66-45 margin over Greene County. The win made it back-to-back wins for Aliceville.
Meanwhile, Marion came up short against Tuscaloosa Academy on Thursday and fell 51-42.
Aliceville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Marion, they bumped their record down to 10-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Aliceville strolled past Marion in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 63-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aliceville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
